World famous rapper Eminem joined the Bored Ape fan club by acquiring one of the non-fungible tokens with a bored monkey. The NFT, which cost the hip-hop legend 123.45 ETH, was previously given the nickname EminApe.
Bored Ape Yacht Club or “Club nautique des singes ennuyés” in French
As CryptoPotato reports, Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem, became one of the owners of a non-fungible token depicting a bored monkey. The acquisition cost him 123.45 ETH. This is the NFT # 9055 of the collection Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), which the community has already named EminApe.
The previous owner, known on Twitter as GeeGazza, thanked the artist for this purchase:
Monkeys representing the NFT collection are highly regarded, many owners put them as profile pictures on various social networks. Among the buyers there are a lot of pop stars, representatives of showbiz, athletes and politicians.
Change in the value of the famous NFTs
Recently, the popularity of the collection Bored Ape Yacht Club increased. Over the past three months, the minimum value of a BAYC NFT has increased by 35%. Perhaps this is due to the fact that world famous celebrities are increasingly among the owners of Bored Apes.
In December 2021, the minimum price of NFT BAYC exceeded for the first time the value of CryptoPunks. This collection has fallen by around 50% in three months. A similar fate befell other popular collections: Pudgy penguins (-73.7%), Hashmasks (-31.6%), Meebits (-28.2%), Booty (-59%).
We will see how the events will unfold and what images will become even more notorious in the new year. We will follow the news from the NFT world and the appearance of new collections.
